Hello,

Does anybody have a source or pictures and the location of the Original hangers for the exhaust system on a 1940 1/2 ton?

Thanks,

Mike

Take a look at my photos. Without looking i only recall two. One designed to secure the round muffler and one at the end of the tail pipe.

Beautiful Truck!!!
What a great set of pictures. It’s really helpful.

Now the questions......

Is the Muffler hanger original? I see it actually straps the muffler.
Did you, could you make a pattern that I could fabricate mine from?
Likewise for the tailpipe....

The strap appears to be available from venders but I can’t find the support bracket.

Do you have any info on the accelerator rod... the one from the carb to the peddle?

Again, nice job....πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€

Thanks,

Mike
