Need some help finding the vin for my 60 Chevy one ton truck. Any help appreciated!
Found the max CVW rating plate with 14000 lb rating, and shows trim, paint, and wheelbase info. But can’t find the vin plate. Thanks!

The 1960 Chevrolet Truck Vehicle Serial Number plate is shown on the first page of this document (which is page number 6 from the original document).

There was not another "VIN" plate.

Yes, that is what is shown in the illustration at the link given in my earlier post.

Found the max GVW rating plate with 14000 lb rating, and shows trim, paint, and wheelbase info. But can’t find the vin plate. Thanks!

With a 14000# GVW that wouldn't that be a 1-1/2 ton not a 1-ton...???

The chassis serial number will also be stamped on top of the frame rail, drivers side above the axle...you might have to scrap and brush to find it. The numbers are about 3/8" tall.

Right, at 14,000 GVW, he has a C-40.
