The top measurement was taken from the center of the hinge pillar just above the hinge, and the center of the latch pillar just above the striker plate.
The lower measurement was taken from the center of the hinge pillar just above the hinge, and the center of the latch pillar.

The one of which I speak now has a $15,000 paint job on it. It was my first Stovebolt which I bought in '88. I am now building it for a guy and it looks better than brand new.
