Having said that, I like it! I have a very solid '50 daily driver with a beat up paint job, and a '49 3100 which I spent a small fortune to have a show quality paint job on it. Guess which one I prefer to drive? The one which I don't have to worry about anyone leaning on it who is wearing a giant belt buckle on his barbed wire belt would be the correct answer. I get the same amount of honks and thumbs up with either of them.
