For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 349 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Apr 2009 Posts: 349 | I recently saved a 1960 Chevy truck (1 or 1.5 Ton?). The cab is in pretty rough condition and i was wondering if the cab is the same as a 60 Pickup cab? I assume the front fenders are different given the wheel size. The truck has what i would call a 16 foot or so container on the back, on dual tires. I was told it was used in a carnival to carry various items and as a repair/maintenance truck for other stuff in the carnival. Who knows if that story is true or not, but i did find a helium gas bottle in the back of it. LOL I will try to get some pictures out here soon. I happened to run across a 60 pickup longbox as a possible donor. Any help appreciated. Thanks!!! Gene
