Hello,
one question is the cylinder head the same from a GM 3835911 and to an GM 3837004?
Can I assemble the head from the GM3835911 on the block GM 3837004?
Ask
Wolfgang

My reference says the GM 3837004 is for a 55 car. I could not find it listed anywhere else. The GM 335911 appears to be a 53 Corvette, built after m16 Oct. 1953. And for the 54 and 55 truck. I do not have a reference for what is interchangeable.

1953 235 through 1962 heads will all interchange. The 1953 head is not drilled for the four bolt valve cover though.
As you can see by this head gasket for example.
