I'm using a small block with an Edelbrock and a 600 cfm Holley. Any ideas on how you guys hooked up your linkage and what pedal setup you used would be appreciated.I'm lost!! I did this same swap and used the pedal assembly out of the donor car...a '76 Nova.
This obviously wasn't the stock pedal.
Knowing how the SBC fits into the engine compartment, and how it snuggles up to the firewall, I think it would take some creativity to use the stock setup.
Lots of linkage stuff is available, so it probably could be done.
The modern day cable setup works smooth as silk and turns corners to boot...maybe a aftermarket cable assembly is available.

Do you have a part number. I searched their catalog and couldn't find the item you describe.
They are the old "Chevy Duty" aren't they?
