Truck info: 1952 235 engine, 6 volt, 139 flywheel with 11" clutch plate mating surface Has 10 3/4" clutch disc- outside diameter of pressure plate measures 13" with 9 bolt holes, 10 spline
Need help - I'm learning as I go and I've never replaced a clutch. Obviously I ordered the wrong clutch. I ordered a new 9 1/8" clutch and pressure plate from Classic Parts - however there is no way this fits - I didn't measure the current prior to ordering since I went by the specs in the service manual, However, I don't see that size listed. Doing some random basic online searching I'm only seeing pressure plates with 6 mounting bolts holes. Where and what do I need to order to get this to work correctly? Any suggestions are appreciated.
If you want to get this right and no aggravation, send what you have, pressure plate and clutch to HR Clutch in Bensalem Pa. They have been in business for decades. They have been rebuilding my stuff for close to 40 years. perfect every time. Yes, not as cheap as new offshore Chinese built stuff, but you get what you pay for. I got started with them as a teenager in the 70s. Turns out they built all of Schieffer stuff for George Hurst back in the day. The owner (Joe Jr.) is the son of the founder. Call with questions, they really do know what they are doing there.
Here is the place I have used a few times to do a clutch, pressure plate and flywheel. They done real good work and it was going back in a Pontiac the next weekend. It's here in central Missouri. http://www.uniqueclutches.com/

Thanks all. I've got a lead on a machine shop that does this type of specialty work here in town. If that falls through the I'll call Jim Carter Truck Parts (shouldn't checked there first!). Hopefully, I get this truck back on the road soon!
