Any one know where I can get a pot metal emblem re chromed? I got one quote of $550 , Can't handle that!

Plating pot is probably the hardest to do. Stripping off the old plating first. Then depending on how bad it is it takes many,many layers of copper to fill the holes in. Each time after plating copper it is polished again . Process is done over and over till it come out smooth. Then nickel and chrome after that. Check out their work before putting the money down.

Space Coast does great work and not a bad price either .Give them a call they will answer all you questions.

Have you checked into Hydro Dipping. Just another option if your looking to save money.

Yikes! I got my gmc grille bars, hood emblem, side emblems, and the model hood callouts all rechromed for $1100. Canadian.
One of my model callouts (9430) has pitting and they asked me if I wanted it perfect. No, I said.

Cheap as possible? Not that either.

Their mid range standard chrome options came out pretty good for me.

Alberta Plating in Calgary, Ab did mine.

Did the deal with Space Coast. More than I wanted to pay, but toys are expensive.
