Me again....get the S10 driveshaft...it only needed to be shortened 1-1/4".....to fit a GM diff. The total for a cut/balance was $55.00.
Total fabrication from scratch was a whole lot more. Might even consider picking up a junkyard shaft with the 9"rear flange. The ideal way would be to check with a driveshaft specialty shop for prices and suggestions. you will have a 5 lug and 6 lug pattern for wheels now.

You can grab one off the shelf at a hot rod or racing shop, or you can pull one from the junk yard.
If I were you I'd just go to a driveline shop and tell them what you need. They can make you a drive shaft with u-joints and the front and rear yokes you need for around 100-150, which is probably how much you'll spend trying to cobb together the parts and have them build it using your parts. So, you'll end up spending more time doing it the hard way. Call the driveline shop to find out exactly what they need to know from you and how much it'll cost, I think you'll be surprised.

There is a local shop that can shorten and balance the original shaft and change the yoke if necessary for around $50. Came highly recommended by the guy helping me put in the T-5. | | |
