Is there a difference between the 1941 style and 1946 style headlights used on the half ton trucks? It seems like the parking light style on the 1941 lights is different from that used on the later trucks. If this is the case, are the parking light housings interchangeable? Thanks!

'41 lights used Pontiac lenses for the small one, might not be available, ask Jim .Carter.

Yes, there is a difference. the 46 parking light housing is a one piece unit with a smaller lense. Mine are glass, some are plastic. The 41 housing is two pieces with a longetr lense. I dont think you can get the 41 lenses in glass anymore. I'm perty sure you can use either of the the housings on your headlight buckets. They are pretty much the same shape.

Hope this helps
George
