Lots of work on Brad's part ... pure enjoyment (and references) for you!

For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,974 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2000 Posts: 1,974 | Maybe this could have gone in GTT. I am a YouTube addict. And I just found the Brothers YouTube channel of shop videos, most of them installing and demonstrating their products. There is a series of videos with a 1951 GMC 1/2-ton longbed. Cool old mostly original truck. They install suspension mods, front disc brakes, dual MC with power-assist, etc. The underneath shots show the torque tube extension, mounting brackets and cross member very clearly. I am not endorsing their products, only the technical videos. Anyone else watch them, and if so have you found them useful? Thanks.

I'm changing my '47 1/2 ton from lever shocks to tube shocks). There aren't many pictures available of front shocks installed on AD trucks (at least that I could find) I find the videos give good information that, hopefully, will come in handy some day. But, like a lot of 'how to' stuff on line, they make it look easy.
It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to paint it.
