wondering where to get parts manuals? have seen master parts catalog but they lack illustrated detail. there must
be something better?

What make, year, model truck?

Have you looked in the Tech Tips section?

There is a Factory Assembly Manual for a few series of trucks (that actually only show details on a few years in that series).

46 gmc 1/2 ton. other makes such as international harvester have model specific parts catalogs.
does Chevrolet or gmc?

Have you tried an Internet search on 1946 gmc truck parts?

I have never seen a vendor that specializes only in old GMC truck parts. If you find/know one, please let us know.

I have a 47 EC 252 and can find nothing as well. I too would be interested if anything was found.

The trucks are pretty simple, so look for others, Chevy or GMC for example.

'37 GMC T-18 w/ DD 4-53T, RTO-610, 6231 aux., '95 GMC running gear, full disc brakes, power steering, 22.5 wheels and tires.
'47 GMC 1 ton w/ 302, NP-540, 4wd, full width Blazer front axle.
'54 GMC 630 w/ 503 gasser, 5 speed, ex fire truck, shortened WB 4', install 8' bed.
'55 GMC 370 w/270, 420 4 speed, grain, dump bed truck from ND. Works OK.
