I want to change my 6 lug disk brakes to a 5 lug pattern. I see the kits from POL show a bearing adapter. Has anyone used them or know where they can be purchased. Thanks

It appears you are intending to use the 5 x 4 3/4" lug bolt pattern. That was only available on a passenger car. Truck spindles are longer therefor the aftermarket "kits" use a spacer behind the inner bearing to make up the difference. I doubt any of the aftermarket suppliers will sell you just the spacer or share any information on what to use. It's also not very likely that many of the 6 lug disc brake components can be used with the 5 lug kit. The mounting brackets are likely different which changes the location of the rotors and calipers relative to the spindle. The bearings could also be different depending on what rotors they provide. My suggestion would be to obtain a complete 5 lug kit, install it and try to sell your 6 lug parts.

Yes that's what I want to do. The caliper brackets should be the same. Am checking on that. I didn't want to buy a 350 dollar kit when I already have D-52 calipers and the rotors. CPP said they would not sell the spindle adapters separate. Waiting to hear from western chassis.

Having done several disc brake conversions I have to caution you on over generalizing what will interchange with another kit.
I have seen older disc brake kits that use the stock hubs and late 70's 6 lug truck rotors. I have installed kits that use a one piece 6 lug 11" rotor and another that uses a 6 lug 12" one piece rotor. I installed a 5 lug kit on my 56 that uses 11" rotors and calipers from a mid 70's Malibu/Camaro. I have disc brakes on my 57 car that use components from a 72 Chevelle. All of these have different offsets and use different brackets. Some of them use the same calipers, some do not. There are numerous aftermarket suppliers that use similar parts in their kits but if you try to mix and match you could easily end up with a whole bunch of stuff that doesn't work.
