Gents, I would like to get a few of us together and show some young kids up. I would also like to meet a few of you. I will have a Stovebolt flag in the air! See info below and sound off if you want to attend!

Chris

“Cars & Coffee is ON for 2020! Firstly, we owe a whole hearted "thank you" to Oak Hills Church for graciously allowing the use of their property. Without their support over the last several years the event would have not been possible. Starting with the first event of 2020 on February 8th it will now be hosted by Six Flags/Fiesta Texas! This has been in the works for several months & we believe this move will greatly benefit everyone.

In addition to the title sponsor XPEL, we'd like to thank our ongoing sponsors; Black Jack Speed Shop, VP Racing Fuels, The Vault Auto Services, Renown Restoration, Southwest Exteriors and Garages of Texas. NEW for 2020 are; Porsche of San Antonio, Ferrari of San Antonio, Lamborghini of Austin, Acura of San Antonio, Summer Moon Coffee & Dean Eastman State Farm Insurance. Due to the greatly increased costs of the event these co-sponsors are necessary and we're excited to have them on board!

Some exciting changes are as follows; we will have food & coffee trucks/tents, separation of 'spectators' vs 'show cars'* (see details below) & more.

*NOTES*

IMPORTANT, ensure you go up FIESTA TEXAS DR., NOT Six Flags Dr. otherwise you will be paying to park. Six Flags will have the gate off of Fiesta Texas Dr. open for this event (see attached image).

Due to the requirements of the host we may need to change the ending hours of the event to ensure everyone is out of the property by 0945. Will keep you posted on this. The gate will be open by 07:00AM.

NO dealerships, food/coffee trucks, non-profits or ANY type business may solicit or be present at the venue representing their organization without express prior approval otherwise you will be asked to leave. (POC Chris White).

*Sponsor dealerships will have priority for their respective makes in the show car area to park near their space/area: Porsche, Ferrari & Lamborghini (will have all exotics) and Acura. ALL other makes will be first come first serve. If you're a leader of a same make vehicle club PM me and let's discuss options to set aside area for you. This will be a 'work in progress' so be patient.”

Thanks Mr Marlow!

I am linking up with the local C10 club and going to see how many trucks we can get there in the future.

It’s always great to meet new people! I can’t wait to link up with them again. We all agree it would be fun to help each other wrench! Today, I met a gentleman with a 66, 51 3100, and a 52 panel. There is nothing like 50s high performance sitting amongst some Ferraris, Porsches, and Lamborghinis! We will have more trucks at the next one!

There should be 2 new bolters in San Antonio after today’s get together.

I had an enjoyable meeting this morning at SA Cars & Coffee. There were five Chevy trucks in attendance, at a new venue for the monthly event, Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Thanks to Chris for getting the word out, and, I think we could double that number next month.

Dean,

It was an honor to meet you! I can’t wait until next time! We just have to get you, Chuck, Kevin, and the yellow 66 together in the near future for a friendly cruise for lunch, dinner, or wrenching. My guess is other trucks will join us after we start getting together.
