Got my 292 built and now I have to put it in place of a 230. Has anyone used the mounts from a 73 to mount in a 64? I eventually am going to put the whole front end from the 73, but right now I just need the truck.

When I did my crossmember swap (from an '85 to a '63), I just used my '63 mounts. They bolted to the '85 crossmember the same as they did to the '63, and the '85 had mounting holes for the offset mount for the 292 as well.

Liquidated my projects
Now looking for a decent '47-'55.1 3100, 3600, or 3800

I knew there had to be somebody who’d done it. Thanks. Got a layer of asphalt to chisel off to get to the 73 mounts, figured I’d ask before I did. Been building this engine for a year and it’s time to hear her purr.
