I thought these might be of interest to Jerry.,
I got these from a friend, this old place is just 20 miles or so from my backyard,.
Neat stuff just to sit on the shelf.
People pick it up,, look at it,, ??what the hell is it??

Good stuff! It's still available in several grades from Rotometals. The alloy GM used in their OEM connecting rods was as hard as woodpecker lips! When I'm boring rods for insert bearings, I can tell if I'm working on an original rod or one that's been reconditioned- - - - -the OEM ones will dull a high speed steel cutter bit, and that's before I get into the steel part of the rod!
