I am installing bear claw latches to my '54 Chevy. The truck is in the middle of a complete restoration and I do not have the window channels that came out of the truck. I want to know if there are any clearance issues with mounting the latch on the inside of the door. It appears that the bear claw latch might be protruding too far into the door and may interfere with the window channel. Can anyone help?

Window channels are a clearance issue.

I put bear claws in my 50 with no trouble using them with the install kit. But I was able to remove the rear channels. See my pics.
