My 1954 Chevy 3100 is tired. I'm looking to get the engine rebuilt. Do you guys know of any reputable shops? Preferably in southeast Michigan?

Thanks
Matthew

I haven't personally used anyone, yet, but there are several consistently advertised in Cruis'News.

MFW, did you try getting in touch with Auto Parts Machine Shop in Ann Arbor? I know we had a post on it last year.

I haven’t contact them yet. Hoping to get some quotes and then make a decision. I also forgot the name of the shop you recommended. Thanks for mentioning them.

Auto Parts Machine shop (734) 663-9381, State Street and I-94 area. If I remember right you are in the Pinkney area? The only other vender that I have used is Dave Hoxey for automatic tranny work, he is just east of Hamburg in an industrial park off M-36

Yes, I'm in Pinckney. Thanks for the tip. I will get a hold of them and see what they can do.
