My ‘49 GMC is my first AD truck. I put it together from basically scratch fairly easily but a few little details still have me scratching my head. Does anyone have a pic of how these short little front fender brace rods mount to? Someone patched up the lower rear part of the fenders already and im assuming there was supposed to be a mounting tab for them but i cant seem to find any actual diagram or pictures. I have one rod and part of another. Just need to get this figured out so the fenders stop flexing and squeaking over big bumps.
There should be a hole just behind the wheel opening. The brace bolts there and to one of the fender to cowl bolts.

Thank you klhansen! That’s exactly what i needed. I was thinking the brace was on way more of a angle and thats why it seemed to short to line up to anything existing.
