I put a set of 2012 Ford Focus Platinum bucket seats in my 49 pickup. I don't know much about the electrical aspect of a vehicle. I'm not sure if a 25 amp fuse can go into the open spot on the fuse block. Would each spot be rate for certain amperage?

You've got 67.5 amps' worth of fuses in that block already- - - - -how big is the wire supplying it, and where is it connected? I'd think a #6 wire connected directly to the battery with a fusible link in it would be needed to supply what's already there. Jerry

The rule with fuses and breakers is Everything downstream must blow before upstream If all your fuses add up to say 70 amps Then up stream must be over 70 amps with margin There should not be a situation where you maximally load the network and blow a high up fuse or breaker without an intermediate legitimate fault or simply all downstream loads near but not over their individual limits. It’s not complicated once you get the core idea and I maybe explaining it poorly, so I apologize in advance if I make no sense.
Thanks for the input guys. The fuse block was already installed when I bought the truck. I can't see a brand, number, or rating so probably best if I come straight from the battery and use an inline fuse and relay to be on the safe side. I don't like the unknown when it comes to safety.

As long as your matching a wire the proper gauge 14, 16 etc to the common contact of the relay and powering the coil of the relay with a switch etc. The n/o contact would go to the seat motor.
