I would appreciate it if anyone in San Diego can tell me of a reputable engine machine shop were I can take my 55 1st 235 and have it rebuilt. I started the rebuild myself a few years ago and with a new job...there just aren't enough hours to continue what I started! I've looked around, but there is always a Negative review of some sort that makes me move to the next one...and the same. So I decided to ask here in hopes of someone having the scoop on a great shop!

Thanks in Advance!

Kato I have a friend in Japan vacationing but he works\restores on advanced design trucks. I'll check with him but there was a guy on YouTube who did a vlog on the brothers truck show this year and he mentioned he had a shop here in town. You might want to try to find him but I'll ask around.
Update: My friend recommended action cylinder heads in Santee off mission gorge. Richard nash
Hope it helps and we meet up someday.

Just a friendly word of caution. Posting phone numbers in public forums is not a recommended practice. Stovebolt.com is like all other public forums in that Spyder and bots troll around looking for numbers to spam and spoof.

KATO has an email address listed in his profile. Send him the number by email to be safe.

AlpineBolt, I appreciate the info. I will look them up and give them a call. Once I get her up and running again, I'll give you a holler!
