i just recieved a intake and exhaust manifold off early 50 gmc 235. does anyone know if this will fit a chev 1956 235. it would solve my original horn mounting

If the cross section of the intake runner is round and not D-shaped, it will work. Early 235s used the same intake as the 216 (D-shaped). I don't recall what year that change was made.
