I am getting chatter when I push in the clutch, often goes away after driving a little bit. Truck will sometimes sit outside for weeks or days without being driven. Any ideas? Thanks!

ya mean when you let it out to start movin? what I'd suspect is prolly a bit of crud on the disc and it's "sticky" when cool, quits grabbin when it warms up w/ use - if you can't live w/ it, hafta change the disc and resurface the pressure plate and flywheel - might also be a funky spring in the presure plate

Clutch chatter is when the clutch starts to engauge it shakes the vehicle like grabbing & releasing. If it makes a grinding noise & vibrates the pedal it is a faulty throwout bearing.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
