He rigged the motor mounts and really messed things up. I have since removed everything and have purchased the tube style cross member like what Impala Bob's and Chevy Duty sells.
What I need now is the actual motor mounts that will attach the side mount engine to the eye's of the tube cross member.

Welcome to the forum.
Are you asking how to mount a mid 1960s 235 to a 1954 truck?
Is yes, here are some things to consider?
1. The 235 was used until 1962 (not quite mid 60s). 2. The 1954-'62 235 truck engine had the same motor mounts (I think). 3. The 1954-'62 235 car engines had motor mounts different from the truck's 235 (I think). 4. There should be no problem getting any 235 installed in a '54 truck - at worst, you might have to use a different bell housing and motor mounts. There should be no reason why a later 235 would necessitate a new/different cross member. 5. It is possible that you have a mid-'60s 6-cylinder (perhaps a 230 or 250).
It would be best to confirm the size/year of your engine before proceeding to "solve" the motor-mount and/or cross-member problem.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding your situation (we will see responses that will correct or clarify my comments).

It looks like the original motor mount is on the front of the engine mounted to a plate behind the timing gears. My problem, and you may have too is the water pump is too long and someone diced up the radiator core support to make it fit. I hope that helps.

I think the side mounts look similar to that of a V-8, and I am wanting to mate this motor to the tubular cross member.
I have already tried to remove the mounts, and bell housing from my original engine, the bell housing isn't even close.
I just need to find some mounts that will do this.

The motor had side mounts when I got it, I removed them, drilled holes in the front mount and it dropped right in. I did have to add a spacer so the larger car flywheel would clear the frame. I also replaced the rubber in the front mount and the one's on the bell housing. If you haven't already you might check out the Tech Tips section there's a couple articles on engine swaps. You need to obtain or make a shortened water pump. I did the one on my 261 in my '50 truck with a press and got a foamoco pulley out of a junkyard truck that was a bolt on. Here is a pic of the install: All the mounts are in the stock locations, it's a '62 block. It came pre-drilled.

But, either aluminum or pressed steel bellhousings are available aftermarket, and can be drilled and welded to fit the stock mounts. Disclaimer: haven't done it, have seen it done.
As for the side mounts, more weld and fab, I guess. Dunno for sure.

I've put the truck on an anti-reject medication. It's not a good idea to disturb a 50 year old unleaking radiator by putting an electric fan on it.
