So back when I picked up my '58 3800, I had to put on better wheels and tires to aid in loading it since the old tires were pretty shot and I knew they wouldn't hold air. All 4 rims that I took off are 17.5, though one is the odd man out when it comes to looks.

Now some are y'all might be asking why does it matter. But to me, running 2 different rims on the same vehicle just kinda bothers me lol
Also I thought about taking the centers out and have them put into a more modern size rim.

Anyone might know which is the proper rim for my truck, if either?

So this is educational for me. I didn't know that they made one piece 17.5" rims.

i had to look at the photos for a while before i noticed that difference.
but i understand your frustration with knowing that one rim is different, it would drive me nuts too.

i'm also searching for extra one piece rims that fit these old trucks
my 53 came with newer style rims that the hub caps won't snap to, and a 1/8 spacer on the front wheels to keep the tie rods 0.001 inches from the inside lip of the tire
