I have been searching for a wheel and tire visualizer to do some comparisons of tire size. Unfortunately i have not found one that is functional for BOTH wheels and tires for my 1952 3100. Does anyone know of a resource that will allow you to plug in various tires sizes and get a sense for how it would look on our trucks? I am going from a 15 inch wheel to a 16 inch wheel and struggling with a good tire size fit. I am going with the nostalgia wheel from chevy of the 40s in a 16 x 7. My current tire size on the 15 inch wheels are 225 70 15. I am thinking about going with a 205 75 16 tire but would like to actually see what the tire would look like prior to committing to this tire size. Also contemplating going with white walls for my two tone project.
Also had a question for folks about vacuum line plumbing. Is there a source for preformed vacuum lines that travel from the bottom of the dual action fuel pump to the back of the vacuum wiper motor as well as the side of the intake manifold? Any pictures of how folks have addressed this would be great. I can only find pre-bent lines for fuel pump to carb and vac advance.
I thought this thread was about the "John Bean Visualiner"- - - - -a wheel alignment system from the early 1950's that used a series of light bulbs and mirrors to project beams onto a screen for checking caster, camber and toe! I taught wheel alignment with one for several years before the school where I was teaching got a computer alignment system in the mid-1980's. The name's the same, but that's about all. I'm going to wager some offshore concern bought the name of an old established business, sort of like what happened to "Craftsman". The machine I was using had its own drive-on rack, and two projection heads that resembled old Evinrude outboard motor power heads! Jerry

Best advice I can offer is to go to a bunch of car shows/weekly cruise-ins and see what looks right on other trucks. Nothing like seeing it in person to make the choice.
