I have a 1939 chevy truck 1.5 ton , it has a sbc 350 with a manual transmission . any ideas for a clutch linkage to fit this type of modification ? thank you 1pete1
Check out the hydraulic throwout bearings used on circle track cars. It's a lot simpler to mount a master cylinder clutch pedal and run a piece of flex tubing than it is to Rube Goldberg some sort of mechanical linkage and hope you get the geometry right. Jerry

Yea..... use all the stock parts. They all fit. I have a LS in mine with a old style open bottom v8 truck bellhousing with the stock 1949 gmc fork and a shiney new link bar from jim carter. It all hooks up like stock with no problems........ as long as you located the motor in the correct spot.
I have a hydro on my t56 in the racecar. It works fine but I actually like the feel of the mechanical setup better. If you just have a sbc in it and the actual bellhousing flange is in the stock location then the stock linkage should just bolt on like stock.
