So my new to me 1940 1.5 ton won’t start now, it’s not getting gas to the carb. It has a clear
Fuel filter so I can see there is no gas in it. Has plenary of gas in the tank. What options are there for fuel pumps for a 216 and who sells them?

Have you purged the whole fuel line, including all fittings? Does it run OK if you dump some fuel in the carb? Is the fuel in the tank modern or antique? Is your fuel pump there, if so, take it with you to match up.

Sometimes it runs and has fuel to the carb, sometimes it doesn’t. Right now it doesn’t.

You might be able to get a fuel pump at your FLAPS. If not you can get fuel pumps and or rebuild kits on line.

Trash/rust in the tank blocking the fuel line. Take the line off at the pump and see if anything is flowing to the pump.🛠
