For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: May 2003 Posts: 328 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: May 2003 Posts: 328 | I am assembling and engine that I have had for a while now. It is a 350 bored .030 over and has been decked to 0 deck height. I am using stock 194 heads with larger springs and 1.6 ratio roller rockers. My question is what length of push rod should I use with this engine. My camshaft has lift of .515"
Thanks in advance. Phil

With hydraulic lifters you'll either have to get them filled with oil or change the valve spring for one that is softer than the lifter internal spring. If you're using solids, you don't have to worry about it. I got the image from this web site. web page
