I'm in the market for an aluminum radiatior for my 37 1/2 ton. Where can I get the best prices on a radiator. I've seen them at shows for $350-400 but have looked on the net and haven't found anything. Thanks

Dave, I'm going to need to order one for my 36 as well.. check out www.summitracing.com they have 2 row aluminum radiators for as low as $165.00, I'm going to order one myself. I just dont like the fact it doesnt have the water outlet on the top/ middle of the tank (like my stock type)

Had mine for the 39 built by PRC. I couldnt find a generic replacement everything was to wide and to short. It was expensive, about $450 but that included a built in tranny cooler and the billit cap. They build them to your specs and send you a cad drawing for approval prior to build. You can place the water outlets wherever you want. They are not that speedy though, especially during the cruising months. But the radiator is top notch.

They make a replacement radiator that fits 37-53 and I saw one at the Louisville Streetrod nats last weekend. The cheapest I saw was $350 and I didn't have the cash with me. Now I'm looking and I'm not gonna shell out $500+ for a Walker radiator. The aluminum ones cool better and look cooler too. I'll keep looking, I'm running a 65 Mustang 3 core right now but it's not enough. Later

I'm running a stock radiator in my 39, it only overheated once, when I got stuck in a parade on a hot day. I've got a stockish 283, with a cut-down fan blade and I took the hood doors off (or didnt put them back on).

Another quality post.
