Here's a combination you may never have heard of. I acquired a Buick 350 with a 4L60E tranny awhile back for a thousand bucks. Out of a 1995 Roadmaster with 118,000 miles. The only reason I bought the set was the car had really been taken good care of until it went into a ditch! I'm thinking about putting this in my 1950 Chevy 3100 nice ratrod, not so nice streetrod.
Any opinions as to ok idea or not? Unforeseen problems I might run into?

Somebody did a bunch of work adapting that Buick 350 to the 4L60E and to get it injected (as a 95 should have been). If it was the stock engine from that wagon it wasn't a Buick. Buick 350 production ended in 1980. Pic of what they have for adapters would be cool.

A 95 Roadmaster would have had a 5.7 LT1 Chevy engine. A 4L60E transmission would also be part of that combination. You will likely need the wiring, computer, and related components to install it a different vehicle.

I got all the related components with the purchase. I will have to purchase new wiring and some components when I install it in my truck...bypass some original setup, "tell the engine" what I need. I know I will probably be looking at somewhere between $500 and $1000 to have this custom made.
