I am looking for some guidance on how and where to attached the brake pedal return spring on my 1948 chevy 3/4 ton truck - I have the spring from "the Filling Station" but not clear how an where to attach it- HELP!

It attaches from the bottom arm of the pedal near where the master cylinder pushrod attaches and to a bracket on the top flange of the frame rail forward of the pedal shaft. Did you also get the extension between the spring and pedal arm? That's a straight wire with a hook on each end. The info is also in the Factory Assembly Manual. Section 5, Sheet 2.00

Should be available on Amazon.
1947-1954 Truck Factory Assembly Manual

Almost a must-have for restorers.

Not sure if it's exactly the same, but assuming it is, here's a picture to help. This is a 49 1/2 ton.

Here is the page Kevin is talking about. In addition to the spring there is an extension rod thats also available from most of the on line vendors.

I bought mine from Classic parts and it worked perfect.
