I saw this one at the local rat rod show. I'm guessing that's a Cadillac Eldorado subframe in the rear. Looked really sporty, like an F1 car. I like it!

Interesting truck. But too bad it photobombed your picture of the (air) cool Type 3 VW parked next to it ... smile

I will bet he will never get it off the ground, even with three wings.

To each his own... those Plymouth Prowler-like wings/airfoils on the front look like ****.

Sad, it's really not a truck at all now.

I'm just saying.

I watch this guy.. I am not into rat rods but I do admire what he does. He has a wrecker business and salvage yard in North Carolina. He takes vehicles that would be scrapped and puts them back on the road. He also with a bunch of his friends come there and puts a car or truck back on the road in 12 hours. They each pay $100.00 if they want and the vehicles are raffled off at the end of the 12 hrs. You have to work all day to enter. The proceeds are donated to Battered and abuse children association. If you want to take the time he has a number of videos on the builds. It changed my mind somewhat about rat rods. His teenage son works along with him. The cars are not over the top but a safe runner.
