Anyone know of a source to get another, or do I need to fab something? This is for the stock bench seat..... | | | | | Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,270 Renaissance Man | | Renaissance Man Joined: Mar 2010 Posts: 10,270 | I have seen some really rough looking trucks which were total basket cases except for the seat riser. It seems that they are above the waterline when these trucks are inundated with rain out in the weather. Start combing the hedgerows and older junk yards that haven't crushed everything yet. You will need to bring something to cut the floor outside of the perimeter of the seat riser. A cordless sawzall would work. Bring a couple of batteries. You can then remove all of the spotwelds once you get it home.

There's a yard there that's full of older vehicles. The address is 2734 E Sage Rd. Take a road trip over there. The owner is probably 80 and a nice guy. You won't be disappointed. Might find something else you need as well.
