I’m looking at purchasing the 49 frame with everything but the cab and engine/trans in great shape. My current project is a 53 3600 that needs a bit of love (springs, kingpins, brakes etc etc etc). Is this a viable option to swap out? However, the little I know is that the cab mounting changed sometime in the late '40's from a 3 point mount to the 4 point mount that ran through the end of the advance design series. I just don't remember when that changeover happened. All that to say, that if your cab mounts are the same, you should be golden

If they're not there, myself or one of the other guys here could help you with dimensions for the holes.

Cabs mount the same (rear shackles).
