Do any of you fine fellows KNOW which solenoid type starter will fit this truck either by part number OR original application?

What size/year engine? Someone here might know what to use. However, most likely someone on oldGMCtrucks.com discussion board would surely be able to provide helpful/correct suggestions. | | | | | Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 14 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Apr 2017 Posts: 14 | I am already running a 12v negative ground. Starter rotates correctly regardless of polarity applied. Saw that he, and sure enough truck started and ran fine. I have read other threads that almost say which one but they seem to assume everyone knows which part number or application to use in place of stomp type.

Positive or negative ground doesn't matter- - - -the starter will work OK either way. Jerry
