We're keeping the original 6 cy eng so need some advice about using their P/S pump and what issues there might be putting that pump on the original 6 cy. as to mounting and pulley alignment. I went that way because all you do is cut a chunk out of your column and place it inline. Stock steering box. no pumps, hoses, pulleys or belts. It has adjustable gain. Just a thought.

Mine was $1500 and done. I also have space issues on mine. I also have electric A/C for the same reason. Makes for a clean engine compartment. Just a personal choice.

Price was almost $800 so I’ll revise my statement to almost twice as much. My kit for the ‘62 C-10 came from Western Chassis and was $300 w/o the pump and belts.ðŸ›

Of course this "everything" doesn't include measuring, welding, mounting, fabricating, etc. They work great and no hoses, pumps, or belts.

If I had a small block in it that wouldn't be an issue but the OEM 6cyl I didn't have a clue. Performance Online has brackets for under $200. Show to be for a 235 but surely a little tweaking would fit them to a 216.
