Just when I finally got a clicker torque wrench, then I find out they're obsolete and the latest greatest thing is the electric drive torque wrench. Just put it on the bolt and you never have to move it - it does all the work!

I would, but it would be unusable in the winter. I do have earplugs to use. I'm sure my wife would object to me putting it in her greenhouse attached to the back of the garage.

Zerk Zapper Grease Fitting Cleaner. We'll see if it can get the one fitting in the front end that won't take grease. I got the version that has interchangeable pistons - typical hammer strike piston and air-hammer adapter. I'm going to try the gentler approach before going to the air tool. I like this model - made in USA, and double o-ringed - which is why I got it, not so much the air hammer adapter.
Oh I forgot! I also bought a little timing light. No more guessing anymore or going by ear!

Metal brake attachment, to be used with my 12 ton press. I did a couple quick trials on 1/8" mild steel, and it works well. The specs that say it will handle up to 3/8" steel may be a bit optimistic, but for most brackets, looks like it will work well. I caught a free shipping plus discount deal that I couldn't pass up. My bench vice will appreciate not taking a beating to bend heavier metal.
Just got back from Harbour Freight. Found a 48" rechargeable work light. You can hang this under the hood and light up everything. Had a 20% off coupon so it didn't hurt my wallet to bad.

Bought a Lincoin Spool Gun for my MIG 140. I couldn't find anyone locally that would weld aluminum for a reasonable price. The hourly rate around here is $75.00 with a 2 hour minimum. The cost of the Spool Gun will pay for it's self in two uses.

So, my ol' Blue Point muffler cutoff tool is feeling weaker and weaker. How do I know? A few years back, someone gifted me a muffler cutoff tool. A Huskie version from Home Depot. Boy, that thing has some oomph! So, last week I was on a tool guy truck and mentioned I should find a replacement for my 30+ year old Blue Point as it was feeling very worn. He said, look at this one. This much horsepower, etc. Gave me the price and I balked. I hate spending money on tools these days. Especially tool truck prices. I told him, why should I buy this one when I can get another Huskie for somewhere around $50 at Home Depot?? Then he hooked me!! "This one is reversible!" Why has no one ever thought of this before?? No more sparks in the face????? I'm still doing a lot of frame work and body patch panel work on my projects. Can't wait to get back to it!!

My son bought me a 4" electric angle grinder for Christmas. Unfortunately for me, he recently bought himself a MIG welder and constructed a very robust cage out of angle iron, inserted the still-new-in-box grinder inside of it before finishing welding up the cage so that I could not get it out. There was no escaping the irony that the tool which I needed to cut the cage open was inside of the cage! He was probably paying me back for handing him a peanut butter foldover made inside out when he was 6 years old.

Santa just brought me a Storm-Vulcan 15-A crankshaft grinder, but he left it on his sleigh. The sleigh looks a lot like the 16 foot utility trailer that has followed me to Homecoming a time or three! As soon as the ground dries out enough after the recent rainstorms, I'll figure out a way to get the trailer to the back door of my shop and unload that 2-ton monster! Jerry
