I recently pulled an original driver side front seat out of a 54 suburban. I'm wondering if anyone has welded the tubing on the bottom and sides to convert it into a middle seat?

There are enough middle seats still out there that trying to make one out of a front seat will be more difficult than just locating a middle seat to begin with.
Nice work on the seats. Can you and will you make a middle and rear seat for someone? What did you use for seat springs? I need a set please please please. I only have the interior left for my restor on my 1948 Suburban.

I did some about 10 years ago I had some legs bent and arm rest and welded them up. For the third seat I removed the back metal cover stretched the seat welded the legs and made a new metal back cover. Not too many people were reproducing the frames back then.
