| | | | Joined: Jun 2019 Posts: 16 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Jun 2019 Posts: 16 | I installed it right where the mechanical pump is, with the intention of moving it closer to the tank once I tested it to work as needed. I didn't do this from the beginning, as it involved cutting the existing fuel line and I didn't want to do that in the unlikely event I wasn't happy with the electric pump. This leads me to another question, still having the mechanical fuel pump installed but not having any fuel running through it, do I risk damaging it as it's running dry? Running with no cap is about as vented as you can get. Where did you install the pump?

Mounted by the engine to get me home. It kept working fine so never moved to towards the tank. Maybe someone else can advise if it harms the original. I don't know. Hope you find the problem. I'm out of spit on this one.
