The original seat in my 1950 fire truck with only 2400 miles on it had a great original seat, but there was no way to get rid of the years of hundreds of mice living in it. Got lucky and found a shop a hundred miles away to tackle the problem. They picked it up, redid it, and returned it a week later. Since the original seat wouldn't have looked that great even when it was new, and felt like a school bus seat, I decided to have them make it look better. They did an awesome job, and it is so much more comfortable, plus the truck smells great now. I hated anyone having to ride in it the way it was, including me. The smell was so bad, they had to stop and buy a can of Febeze air freshener on the way home. Now I need to make the rest of the interior catch up a little. They are out of Dubuque, Iowa.
