What year?

Presumably, you want an estimate of the weight of the "cab portion" of the "body"

No front/rear fenders, and no hood, and no doors?

General dimensions/weights for your 1965 Suburban are show on page 7.

About 4300 lbs curb weight with fuel.

~ 450 lbs engine (230 ci)
- rest of drive-train
- chassis-frame/wheels/tires
- seats
- doors & windows

My uneducated guess would be that the stripped-down Suburban cab wight would be less than 2000 lbs.

Wait to hear from other members.

4 x 8 sheet 16 gauge weighs approx. 80 lbs. Figure, generously, 10 sheets to do everything behind the front doors. 800 lbs. Maybe another three sheets to do everything as part of the regular cab? There's 240. Add another 100 for the plywood floor. I can see it, and agree with Tim, less than 2000 lbs.

What Mark said, AND the skin isn't even as thick as 16 gauge (it's 19 gauge - under 60 lb,) so would weight a bit less. But that's a good estimate.

Here's another take for weight of a conventional cab 1959 cab weight. 650 lb. Guessing the 'burb at twice that comes out to 1300 lb.

If you're smart enough to take it apart, you darn well better be smart enough to put it back together.
