i am restoring/rodding a 59 chevy 1-ton. i don't plan to really haul with it, and at most pull a 5000 lb. trailer so payload and towing capacity are not a major concern.

i am buying a 77 nova for parts and i had a few questions. i will be using the rear end and engine from it, and i may or may not use the th350 tranny.

i was planning on going to a ifs with discs up front, and wanted to knw if i could use the clip from the nova. how involved is this procedure?

this is my first frame-off so my welding skills are at the novice level, but i know some experienced welders who could help. if it is feasable that i could do it instead of buying a mustang II it would save me a bunch of money.

well i iwas looking athe the No Limit Wide-Ride IFS, bbut i was just towing with the idea of the nova clip. good point about towing, i don't think the nova ifs would be up for a highway trip hauling a 5000 lb. boat
