I'm about to begin the bed installation on my 1950 1 ton, 9ft bed
I ordered the kit
Truck has 4 cross sills plus the rear cross sill
Each sill requires blocks and pads and the rear cross sill just pads
The kit came with 6- 1/2" pre drilled blocks and 6 pads
I need two more 1/2 pre drilled block and pads for the fourth cross sill
I also got with the kit 6- 3/8 pre drilled blocks and
10 pads in an another bag
Than oddly enough only 10 - 3/8 ×6" long carriage bolts with offset washers
Do I even need the second kit with the smaller pre drilled holes
I'm thinking about robbing a couple and drilling them out for the cross sills or am I going to need them somewhere else?

I’m reasonably sure the rear most mounts don’t use wood blocks.

On mine there are 4 sets of wood blocks.... the rear mount has a built in metal box that is part of bed that eliminates the need for a wood block in that location.

Which cross sills had the blocks?
Do you mean all four cross sills had blocks except of course the furthest most rear one.
Or that perhaps the furthest one toward the cab maybe and the furthest one towards the back?

All cross sills have the blocks. The only cross sill that doesn’t is the one closest to the tail gate. That has the metal spacer
