Looking for anyone that has seen or has photos of anything close to my 51 GMC, 250-22, 137" w/b John Bean fire truck? There was one getting ready to be restored back east and other than that, I have not found a brother or sister to my truck.
Had a '53 GMC, took body off, no lights nor siren, 302 engine, though. Have a '54, no lights or siren, 8' bed, 503 engine-look in Big Bolts, yesterday, 'waiting on summer.'

I saw one in a small town in an old firehall in northeastern Nevada once. It could be that truck’s twin. It wasn’t quite as shiny though but was in great shape.
Edit: I checked my travel journal. That small town was Eureka, Eureka County, Nevada. About 500 people in that town. It was small. What’s the travel distance from home to Eureka for you? Summer road trip? 😎
