I put a new lock cylinder in my 61 C20 ignition. However, you can remove the key in the run, start, and acc. position and NOT the off position. It's like it's exactly 100% a$% backwards. Is it because it's from the land of almost right, or have I done it wrong? Thanks guys
Jog my memory. The switch in the far counterclockwise position is ACC, straight up is OFF, one click clockwise from straight up is RUN and spring loaded far right is START? It’s not unusual to be able to remove the key from any position after many years of use. Sort of odd with a new cylinder. Maybe the switch itself is worn and doing weird things.ðŸ›

You have the sequence and position of the key correct. Yeah I cant figure it out. But I wont lose any sleep on it. Been cutting out the rusted floor and rockers and replacing them. One side is done.
