Question: What is a good size diameter dual exhaust system for this engine with a pair of Flowmaster mufflers? Also, should I build in an H pipe?

I would suggest 2 1/2" pipes. I have heard 2" pipes with flow masters and they sounded like glasspacks. On the other hand, I had a Camaro with dual 3" exhaust with Flowmasters and the sound was deafening. Around 2300 RPMs, the resonation would give me an instant migrane. I have run 2 1/2" exhaust on 475hp small blocks with great success and the sound was awesome. I hope this helps.
