Purchased Steele Rubber channel for my rear window. Done enough reading and watching videos to find some interesting differences in procedures. Some use sealant, some don't. Some use hardening and/or non hardening sealant. Seems to me use of sealant would be the wisest move but......
When I removed my glass I found no evidence any sealant. I have two questions. Originally, was sealant used at all? Also, what suggestions would previous installers have found to be the most important to success...….and fewer bad words!!! ;-)

Start at the bottom and work up both edges to the top. | | | | | Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 678 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 678 | My glass guy uses sealant only after the fact if there's a leak. He has a cool pointed tip gun to get it behind the rubber.
