The Stovebolt Site Forums The Shop Area Interiors 55.2 throttle linkage

Hello fellow bolters....

Its been quite a long journey working on this 55 chevy 3600 with my boys.
Since minor and major disassembly on various parts of the truck, I have misplaced a few parts here and there.

One of the pieces we are in need of now is the throttle linkage from the accelerator pedal to the carburetor.

I know the original motor was a straight 6 inline engine, I reckon that linkage left with the motor. Since we now have a small block 350 engine in its place, I have nothing to work the carburetor from the pedal.

Any suggestions as to what you may have done or have used to fix this?

Not sure if you are on a tight budget or not but here is LMC’s fix to your problem. If you want an original piece I’d suggest a boneyard somewhere.

Got the LMC piece you referenced....
But its a pretty tight fit and lookss more like a universal piece to be alteres to your particular vehicle...

I guess its time to start callin around to junkyards...
